Recalibrate

Life hurts a lot. Even when you’re not under a status of immediate danger. The mental issues are multiplying. Crises are everlasting. You chop one crisis «head,» and three more pop out in its place. It seems overwhelming. Is there a hidden network creating these crises, or is it human greed that enhances the problem? Are the billionaires of the world responsible for this? Their greed? The planet cannot provide resources endlessly for our mass consumption habits. We in the Western world buy things constantly, even without needing them. Why? Because we are feeling «inferior» towards life itself. The fact that we have distanced ourselves from nature—and our true identities, which lie in «slumber» deep within the core of our existence—has transformed us into scared entities, lingering on this planet without a true purpose.

So we hide ourselves from our true nature and a noble cause, and we do so by consuming «stuff» and useless media, and in that way, we escape reality and become idle. This is true for the majority of the human population. But fortunately, a wave of reawakening has begun. Little tides of inner revolution—or actual ones—have begun. We can do more. We can protect more. We can learn more. And we have proven that we can «go places». We are capable of creating anything we may conceive. But we need to form a coalition of spiritual reawakening. We need to form a new vision. In its core, we shall find mankind. As the protecting driving force that respects the planet that we walk on. God said that He made us according to His image. That says a lot if we choose to believe. It means that we «carry» a «divine» DNA, and this notion carries a heavy burden and a great responsibility.

With that being said, we are dealing with the evaluation of our present status and the strategic planning of a better future. This is urgent . It is a call to action. We are at a critical standpoint in our history. We are flirting with our self-destruction again. And we have no excuse to do so. We are probably among the «luckiest» species in our known universe. There is no proven evidence -so far- that there is intelligence similar to ours in close proximity. Yet we fantasize that there is and we will get in touch with them at some point. Until then, though, we have got to fight for the salvation of our own spirit and the preservation of our home. We must also end the cycles of envy and violence. Learn from our past mistakes. We can do that. Love and a perfect vision will construct the perfect vehicle that will lift the weight of pain from our shoulders.

What is this new vision we are talking about? Not a very complex new ideology. It will be the harmonious sharing of ideas. The equal and «just» treatment of all species and minorities upon the globe. Building a utopia is something unachievable. But we can communicate our problems better. Teach our kids more useful things about life. We need all the «enlightened» figures of our times to come forth, present themselves, and build a unified front against the «evil stupidity» that rules and governs the world right now. Does that sound heretical and excessive? I dare say no. Most of our problems (collectively) may be dealt with a call to action, the use of our logic, and simple but equitable ways. It is «insane» that we live in an era where we see the «unreasonable» ruling over our lives. And we close our eyes in front of this distorted reality. It’s a shame. We are hiding behind «ephemeral» luxuries, escaping from ourselves and the problem.

The solution lies on the exact opposite. We should go and confront the problem with «action.» Head on. When doing this, we rediscover ourselves! We build new, healthy habits. We try new «tricks.» We evolve. We reach out. We collaborate! United we win. Imagine putting together the entirety of the human spirit under a noble cause, living together with respect and trying to produce monumental works of art, architectural wonders. Or the reduction of waste? We throw away so much food! We spill so much water. Why do we always need so many new gadgets and «stuff»? Let’s build stronger and long-lasting objects, so we won’t need to replace them very often. I use this as an example of new ideas that we can put together and form this new vision, this new «manifesto.» I am just an insignificant unit among real breathing and thinking people , sharing my ideas, expressing myself . I don’t have the capacity to produce more than thoughts and words.

This is the only thing I can do. But we must start addressing the problem. We must quit( or reduce at the very least) the luxury of our «couch» and start talking it over. The new revolution must be one of the «spirit». No need for violence. But we need all the help we can get from one another. This is just a message in a bottle. But if we combine these messages, we can «fill» the sea of communication, and maybe then we will be able to rediscover a new meaning for our lives and especially the lives of the next generations—the continuity of our species. It is our legacy. Would you feel proud if you finally said «no» to this challenge? To this opportunity? The time has come. Step up. Contemplate the amazing fact that we were born in this form. And whether you believe—or not—in our «divine» inheritance, you must accept the fact of our «complexity» and uniqueness. This is undeniable! Take advantage of the time we have. Let’s get united and form the new vision. With love and respect. A humbled servant.
