It takes courage not to throw a punch to a knife pointing at you.This could be anything.In my case it’s my daughter.Locked and loaded,feeling infuriated and rebellious around the clock.Few are the moments of serenity within this highly educational period of our lives that includes puberty.And these moments started revealing their beauty when we decided to become true-empathetic listeners.It’s hard to imagine what’s happening inside the impressive mind of a teenager.Especially now at the era of confusion and distress.

It doesn’t have to be brutal.Pause «.And then pause a little bit more.Breathe.Reflect on your answers.Even pose a new related question.Challenge their social skills.Make them be proud of your rhetorical capabilities.Make them feel equal and important.See?It wasn’t a big deal.Show courage my friend.Expand that wherever you can.Go with love.Love your children.Love yourself.Go gently!
